CAPTION 要素の直後が ASCII 空白文字またはコメントでない場合、CAPTION 要素の終了タグは省略することができる。

解説

CAPTION 要素は、テーブル モデルに参加する。

TABLE 要素が FIGCAPTION 要素以外の FIGURE 要素で内容のみである場合、CAPTION 要素は FIGCAPTION 要素を選んで省略されるべきである。
